What once was a decrepit skeleton of steel and concrete in the shadow of Shockoe Bottom is now a canvas illuminated with brilliant colors and detail by local and non-local muralist for the first ever RVA Street Art Fest. Along the Kanawha Canal, 14 street artists from around the country are busy carefully constructing their masterpiece on this once desolate open-air structure. The murals are transforming a once grey, esthetically undesirable part of Richmond into an artistic display of creativity and design.

Also, our good friends at J. Fergesen Gallery are hosting a number of works in a pop-up gallery. The RVA Street Art Satellite Gallery, presented by J. Fergesen is at 109. S.14th Street near La Diff and will selling one of a kind artwork from the featured muralists every weekend in April.
