DAILY FIX: FBM's "East Coast Roast"

Yeah, I know--we should have posted this about a month ago. What can I say? Things get lost in the shuffle sometimes. I'm just one relatively disorganized dude with a notebook full of scribbles. But anyway, when I happened upon this particular video once again, weeks after I first discovered it, I couldn't help but want to post it anyway. So here you go--this is a video of a crazy event put on by FBM Bike Co. in Richmond back on the last weekend in March. Out in the courtyard in front of Lamplighter Roasting Company, this crew of insane bikers built a cup of steaming hot black coffee that was over four feet tall and several feet in diameter. They placed this huge cup of coffee between two bike ramps, and then a bunch of completely insane BMX riders took turns jumping and doing tricks over this cup of coffee. If anyone fell in, the video doesn't show the results (which I assume would have been brutal), so I'm assuming no one did, but that makes this entire escapade no less ridiculous. It's a lot of fun to watch, though, and the soundtrack to the video is Black Flag's "Black Coffee"--the 1982 demo version, with Dez Cadena on second guitar and Chuck Biscuits on drums--so you know I approve. Here it is--better late than never, right? Enjoy!
