The latest issue of RVA Magazine has hit the streets of this fair city, and it's packed full of outstanding articles for you to enjoy! Featuring a beautiful cover painting by Jeff Soto, our latest issue contains an in-depth interview with Soto, as well as a fascinating conversation with artist Nick Kuszyk, both of which were conducted when the artists were in town for the RVA Street Art Festival. We've also got plenty of music-related content, ranging from the hard-partying thrash of Municipal Waste to the party-starting hip hop of Suburban District.

But that's not all--not even close. Also in the issue are groove-rockers Downbeat Switch, psychedelic trailblazers The Diamond Center, and wild and crazy rock n' rollers The Milkstains. Then there's an exclusive interview with Philadelphia metallers A Life Once Lost, who recorded their first album since 2007 here in Richmond, and gave us a preview of their excellent new sound. All of that, plus much more, can be found within the pages of RVA #9, our Summer 2012 issue, which you can find in many of this city's finest retail locations today!

If you want to be sure that you get a copy, though, the best thing for you to do is come out to The Republic, located at 2053 W. Broad St, tonight at 10 PM. In conjunction with Radio Rubber Room's usual Wednesday night presentation of live music at The Republic, RVA Magazine will be holding our official release party, and plenty of copies of the new issue will be on hand. Come out, meet the people behind the magazine, hear some great live music, and get yourself a copy of the new issue--what better way to spend your Wednesday night? We'll see you there!
