Here are some brand new videos from the local RVA hip-hop scene, with commentary from Roger Tyler, aka RT of The New Juice Crew. You can check out his work HERE, or catch him on WDCE 90.1 FM, Mondays At 11pm-1am, or WRIR 97.3 FM, 1am to 3 am on Saturday, along with Black Liquid and plenty of other local MCs.

Fan Ran feat. Skweeky Watahfawls and Johnny Ciggs - Hunnid Dolla Bills
One third of local emcees Divine Profitz, Fan Ran brings us a self-produced banger. “Hunnid Dolla Bills” also features Gritty City Records' own Skweeky Watahfawls and Johnny Ciggs. I have been hearing about Ran and the Divine Profitz for years, and if you haven’t just ask any RVA local who keeps their ear to the streets. Gritty City Records has had quite a run in the local scene as well. Ran must have a project or something in the works, so keep an eye open for more coming from him.

Chance Fischer - Tantalize
Local emcee Chance Fischer steps out of his hard hip hop side to show us his way of making a woman feel amazing with his single “Tantalize.” This video goes through stages of the way he rolls in these situations. Any guy who doesn’t know how to wine and dine a female needs to take notes. The quality of the video is due to direction by Mark A. Shark of New Vintage Films, and I hope to see more of his work in the near future. This song is one of five contained on Chance Fischer’s EP Epic Week.

Mi$tro feat. Black Cobain - Real
I recently came across DMV artist Mi$tro, who hails from Caroline County, and has had quite a buzz in the DMV for some time. I got a chance to see his newest video featuring DMV artist Black Cobain. From seeing the talent at many local shows featuring DMV artists, I see a big connection that could potentially create a lot of buzz for Virginia in the near future. This is one of many videos coming from Mi$tro, who also has his own Production Company Mason Taylor Films. This video in particular was shot by Joe Moore Production. Mi$tro's South-driven flow and attitude for the Hip Hop game demonstrates his craft, which he has honed by doing numerous radio shows and performances. Hopefully we'll see a performance from him in RVA one day.
