Check it out, folks--R. Nicholas Kuszyk, the VA-born, New York-based artist who made recent appearances both at the RVA Street Art Festival and within the pages of our print magazine, has just joined forces with Richmond literary magazine Makeout Creek to present his latest book. Featuring Kuszyk's trademark robots, Jammer Slammer tells a story about conflict between two different types of robots--jammers and slammers. Or at least, that's how it appears to us from checking out the small sample of the entire book that's available for perusal on Makeout Creek's website. Go there and check it out for yourself--maybe you'll see a different story unfolding. Or, alternately, you could just find out exactly what's going on within the pages of Jammer Slammer by ordering your very own copy. It's available for purchase from makeoutcreek.com for the very reasonable price of $12, and you can also find it on the shelves at local retailers Chop Suey Books and Need Supply. So however you choose to do it, go score yourself a copy of Jammer Slammer, and enjoy the latest example of Nick Kuszyk's excellent art!
