Well everyone, we've been talking about it for quite a while now, and the time has finally come--Goldrush's contribution to the Making Moves vinyl 7 inch single series, curated by Motion City Soundtrack and released by MAD Dragon Records, has finally hit the streets! Prabir and the rest of the Goldrush crew are so excited, they're throwing a free show in celebration, and it's all going down at the Camel this Sunday, the night before Labor Day! The show will also mark the official unveiling of the single to the general public. "Settle Down," the A-side, has been kicking around the internet in mp3 form, but there's nothing like owning a permanent hard copy, complete with deluxe cover artwork. You can blast it early in the morning and annoy your roommates, spin it at your next party and get the dancefloor going, and best of all, the next time your computer's hard drive crashes, you can be sure that it'll survive unharmed. So come on out Sunday night, and use the duckets you'd normally pay as admission charge to pick up the brand new Goldrush vinyl single. You won't regret it.

You won't regret coming to the show either, because not only are Goldrush going to do one of their trademark sets packed full of energetic power-pop, My Old Ways are also on the bill. This Richmond indie supergroup is led by former Palominos vocalist Trey Cutrell, who makes his home in Alabama these days but travels back to RVA on a semi-regular basis to get together with his friends and crank out a set of heartfelt original tunes. In addition to Cutrell, the band features Curtis Patton (David Shultz And The Skyline), Willis Thompson (Thao With The Get Down Stay Down), Treesa Gold (Goldrush/Long Arms), Rob Green, and Kristin McCain, so come see this all-star cast get together for a rare performance that should be highly anticipated by those in the know.

Rounding out the bill will be Richmond's newest--and youngest--indie rock sensation, the quartet of high school juniors known as Herro Sugar. They've been generating a buzz online with their catchy songs and entertaining videos, and recent live performances have proved that they aren't just a studio fluke. These fun-loving kids have talent far beyond their years, and will blow you away with their well-constructed tunes and lock-tight performance. Get to The Camel on time, because you do not want to miss a moment of this show.
