Here are some brand new videos from the local RVA hip-hop scene, with commentary from Roger Tyler, aka RT of The New Juice Crew. Bravo - Harlot
This Video by local emcee Bravo is one of the best videos I have seen thus far this year. Shot by fellow comrade and local emcee T-Mac, of their team The Big League, this video follows the tale of a woman named Charlotte who lives the life of a prostitute, or as he calls her, a "Harlot." I’m not going to go into too much detail about this video because it will spoil the reason for watching, but visually the story is one of the best to date, and the acting is phenomenal. I give Bravo kudos for stepping out of the box for this video and hope to see more from him and The Big League soon. This is a must see video. All I can say is press play.
Cuzzomania - F.U.N.
This video by local emcee Cuzzomania demonstrates what he is talking about with the title "F.U.N." The visuals were shot by Aura HD and Imagery, and the storyline is pretty interesting. I especially liked how he was dreaming of his song being a hit and it comes true as he parties in the club with many females. There's also a cameo from local promoter Jay30. The visuals are very clear, as we always see with Aura HD, and the song definitely has potential to be a hit in the RVA clubs. I hope to be there next time Cuzzomania performs, so I can see what types of fun there is in the club when he’s around.
Memph 10 feat. Falmouf, Yougsta - Who Is You
Local emcee Memph 10 does it again with his newest video, “Who Is You.” With help from fellow comrades and local emcees Falmouf of OMG ENT and Youngsta of B.O.C.M., he starts off with scenes from the everyday life of Richmond, where people are talking about how it is when you go downtown. Then he kicks it off with rhymes about times when people try to ask him about how he grinds, and he responds with “Who Is You.” This video, which was shot by Memph 10, portrays the street life in RVA as he always does, and shows his unstoppable grind from instate to out of state. Keep a look out for him and his entourage as they strive to show how life is in the streets of RVA.
