Halloween is always a great time for music, and this year was no different. Fans who were lucky enough to go to The Camel to witness Zep Replica and The Men Who Sold the World (Bowie tribute) really had a treat.
Zep Replica features members of the Trillions and The Animal Beat, as well as Stephen Frost. The Leaking Genius captured part of the Zep Replica set, and here it is:
Ohbliv is a beat-maker who often works his magic on stage. He recently played a show up in Brooklyn. Watch the man do his thing:

Next we have an album by 14-year-old rapper Clevy. Some of his samples are DOPE, and his flow isn't too shabby.
Swyers is the name under which Josh Swyers has just released a new album of Americana and folk songs. Swyers is also known around the community as a kick ass skater. The album, called Treefort, contains twelve tracks of varied folk and rock experimentations. Check out "Blood Stream" for a grainy, clapping, staccato guitar and spacious excursion.
Woods from New York just played at Strange Matter on 11/1 and r0wjimmy took a video of song "Is it Honest?"
Singer/songwriter Sean Cunningham released an album in April under the name Ladies & Gentlemen. He is a one-man-band, as he played all instruments, sang, engineered, and produced the album all himself. The folk tunes have a softness and darkness about them. Check out "Halloween" if you still miss October pranks.
