Nelly Kate and Dave Watkins weren't the only local musicians to participate in 1708 Gallery's 2012 edition of InLight Richmond. Local power-pop heroes The Trillions were on the scene as well, and they made themselves and their music the triggers for the extensive light display that they set up onstage. RVA's man with the camera, Todd Raviotta, was on hand to document the way the whole process worked, and you can see it for yourself in the video below. As The Trillions play "Wish You Well," the lights strung around, over, and through their equipment react with the changes in the music to produce a visual representation of the music they're creating as they play. It's a neat effect that adds a new dimension to their already-entertaining live show.
