No matter what you may have heard, the one man band did not break up. It's impossible to summarize the musical endeavors of someone that has crossed musical genres as much as Ceschi (pronounced "chess-key"), from lo-fi synth pop to hardcore metal to something he calls "sex-core crunk/hyphy". His record label, Fake Four, is chock full of indie hip-hop heroes like Busdriver, Myka 9, Awol One, and Sole. These days, he is stunning audiences around the world with a laptop, an acoustic guitar and a dynamically paced, socially-conscious blend of folk and hip hop vocals. True to indie form, Ceschi will be playing a little-hyped house show in the Manchester district for those lucky enough to hear about it. You're welcome.
