James Callahan, the RVA artist formerly (and sometimes still) known as "Barf," will be presenting a selection of new and recent works for your viewing pleasure beginning tonight at Books Bikes And Beyond Thrift Store. You may be familiar with Callahan's work from Born Ugly Magazine, his collaborations with Shipyard Skates, his album cover designs for RVA hardcore and metal groups like Municipal Waste and Brainworms, and a ton of other places that his art has appeared over the years. He'll be showing art and selling prints at Books Bikes And Beyond, located at 7 W. Broad St., throughout the month, with a First Friday opening reception happening tonight starting at 7 PM.
