2012 is quickly drawing to a close, and the entire RVA musical community is celebrating yet another great year for local music. Three artists who've had particularly big years will cap off the past 12 months by performing together this Friday at Balliceaux, and if you're a fan of RVA music, you need to make sure you're in attendance. The Trillions took their shred-pop sound to its greatest heights this year with the release of their debut full-length, Tritones, on Worthless Junk Records. White Laces delivered on all of the buzz that they've accumulated since their formation a few years ago with a debut full-length of their own, Moves, on Speakertree Records. Anousheh returned to the public eye after a relatively quiet period in her career with a new sound and a new EP, The Trouble I Find. Now all of these artists will be joining together for one remarkable evening of live music. DJ Big Chair will start off the evening by spinning your favorite 80s tunes, so show up early, and plan to stick around all night. Even though the musicians will be performing in a certain order, there is no true star of this show--all of these acts are worthy of the spotlight. There is not one second of live music that will be happening at this show that you can afford to miss. Show up at Balliceaux this Friday and start off the last weekend of 2012 right. We'll see you there.
