A whole bunch of street artists from around the country and abroad have descended upon RVA over the past few days, and with the Richmond Mural Project officially kicking off this week, a lot of work is getting done around town. Along with our friends at Art Whino, we've been running around town keeping track of paint hitting walls at various locations, and today we snapped some Instagram shots of various works in progress. Here are some highlights:
Aniekan finishes up his mural, featuring Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, on the side of Thai Corner, located at the intersection of N. 2nd and E. Marshall St.
Greg Mike getting started at Starlite, 2600 W. Main St.
Stormie Mills in progress at Kitchen 64, 3336 N. Boulevard.
Bezt & Sanier of Etam Cru looking over sketches at The Village Cafe, 1001 W. Grace St.
Kelly Towles getting to work on the back porch of Don't Look Back, 2929 W. Cary St.
Natalia Rak up on a lift at 2103 W. Main St (next to Sidewalk Cafe).
