For years now, a dedicated group of zombie aficionados have been organizing the Richmond Zombie Walk each year around Halloween. It's that time again, and sure enough, the 7th Annual Richmond Zombie Walk is all set to happen once again this year. If you're looking forward to seeing the chaotic spectacle, then the place to be is Carytown, this Saturday at 2:30 PM. Zombies will be walking through Carytown at that time, and it should be pretty crazy. I've been in Carytown for many of these previous zombie walks, and it's always amazing! Tons of people, tons of costumes, tons of entertaining and creative fun for everyone involved. If you're interested in participating, zombies will be meeting up in costume at the boat lake in Byrd Park at 1 PM on Saturday. There'll be prizes for the best costumes in several different categories. For more information, check the Richmond Zombie Walk's website, here. Participation is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. The money raised will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.
