Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. We apologize if you showed up to Cafe Diem expecting to see Open Stage Night. We decided that it would be best to take last Wednesday off and decompress before gorging ourselves over the holiday. But seriously though, we posted about it on Facebook, so you would have gotten the memo if you were plugged in.
Now that the tryptophan is starting to wear off and our pants feel like they fit again, RVA Magazine and Radio Rubber Room have joined forces with Brown Distribution and Taste The Local for Open Stage Night at Cafe Diem. As always, the list is nearly full. We have reserved several spots for walk in musicians, so if you want to play tonight, bring your instrument with you.
In promotion of their upcoming appearance on Radio Rubber Room this Thursday, No Dice will be the feature act, playing 2 full electric 15 minute sets. Also on the list tonight are Canoebear, The Kindling Kind, The Dream Machine, Dane Ferguson (on Crutches), Misha Graynovskiy and Sam Friedman. Here is the event page with further information on signing up
Thanks to Brown Distribution and Taste The Local, we should have some festive local beverages to celebrate this evening.
Hope we see you there.
