Legendary Los Angeles rapper Evidence is probably best known for his work with the excellent hip-hop group Dilated Peoples, but he also has a thriving solo career. His second solo album, Cats And Dogs (a reference to his nickname of "The Weatherman," which was also the name of his first solo LP), dropped back in September on Rhymesayers Entertainment, and now he's coming to Richmond for a special solo appearance in support of that album. The show will feature opening sets by local hip-hop artists Ohbliv and DJ Dizz, and will be hosted by Richmond's own The Honorable Sleaze. New Richmond record label Maplewood Records is making this whole thing happen, flying Evidence all the way out from LA to rock for us. This is gonna be the biggest hip-hop event of the new year thus far, so make sure you're in attendance!
