This week, it's the premiere of Radio Rubber Room's new Wednesdays At The Republic With The Dream Machine event, which kicks off in fine fashion with a great headlining set from Soundstorm! This young, hip, and talented group brings a healthy blend of R&B, soul, and funk to the table. They've developed quite a buzz with their recent monthly gigs opening for the DJ Williams Projekt, as well as regular headlining gigs at City Dogs that have been packing the people in. The Dream Machine is our Wednesday night house band, and with their recent additions of Brian Riley of The Kindling Kind on bass and Jason Kincaid of Think/Effect on drums, founding members Jason Hunnicutt (vocals/guitar) and Justin Shear (guitar) are taking the rock to a whole new level. With their extensive set of Southern rock/blues originals and popular cover songs, The Dream Machine guarantee that no song will be played more than once a month. And on top of all that, we'll have cheap beer and $2 rail drinks. Plus, be on the lookout for special guest performers and other awesome surprises. You can expect Wednesday nights at The Republic to be rockin' for the foreseeable future, but there's nothing like the first time, so don't miss this premiere event tomorrow night!
