DAILY FIX: Les La Britanica, "Road Soda"

Les La Britanica just dropped their new album, Soft Swerve, a few months ago, but they're clearly not planning to slow down in 2012, as they've already got a brand new single out. "Road Soda" is a dark, druggy-sounding song with a title that references pouring brown liquor into a Pepsi bottle in order to fool the cops and get away with consuming alcohol in a moving car. The kind of degenerate lifestyle evoked by a reference like that is doubled down by this murky, blue-tinted video, in which copious amounts of drugs are consumed (or so it appears). As a longtime sober person, I don't really know what getting high in a room with heavy blankets hung over the windows at 2 PM on day 5 of a heavy drug binge actually feels like, but I'm guessing it at least looks like this video. Bonus points for the flashing upside-down crosses, the Danny Brown lyrical reference, and the spooky, Clams Casino-meets-witch house beat. Attempting to keep up with Les La Britanica would obviously be damaging to my health, but I definitely dig their music.
