ill.Gates is back--and he's bringing the bass with him! For the second time in 2012, the San Francisco DJ, producer, and educator will be setting it off in RVA. After a well-received combined workshop/performance at The Canal Club last summer, ill.Gates is returning fresh on the heels of his latest release, the Church Of Bass EP, which features a collaboration with Beats Antique and is available for free download from his website. Also performing as part of the Church Of Bass tour will be Stephan Jacobs and Jay Fay, with local support provided by the DJ team of Dook & D-Rez. Stephan Jacobs is an LA-based producer who just released his self-titled debut full length on Bass Cartel, which is also available for free download. Jay Fay, an up-and-coming teenage DJ from St. Louis, rounds out the tour. He's received approval from stars like Dillon Francis and Dave Nada, and shared stages with everyone from Drake to Steve Aoki. You can hear his music for free as well. Check out the tunes, and get psyched, as the house will be rocking at Kingdom this weekend!
