In the wake of the success of their lauded debut album, Moves, with its romantic-esque indie pop sound, Richmond dream rockers White Laces have released a new EP, //////Interzone. This EP, available for free (or a voluntary donation) from their bandcamp page, speaks to the band's prolific work ethic, which has seen them release a self-titled 12-inch vinyl EP on Shdwply Records, several split vinyl releases, and five music videos since 2011.
Their new five-song EP, consisting of live recordings from two different sessions, features a few previously released songs, as well as a new song called "Deep Moves" and version of Moves track "Crawl/Collapse" featuring an extended sax solo contributed by Ben Miller of Tungs. This EP will surely please fans of the band, tiding them over while they eagerly await new material--which is surely forthcoming before too long, as White Laces recently mentioned on facebook that they'll be heading back into the studio soon.
