Calling all RVA hip hop heads! It's been a while since we've done a giveaway for a local hip hop show, but we're making up for it in a big way with this one. Coming off the recent release of his twelfth mixtape, It's The World, this past December, Young Jeezy is bringing his thug motivation to The National next Friday, May 24. The Atlanta MC, who Pitchfork's Miles Raymer calls"one of the most talented rappers working," is currently putting together a new album scheduled for release sometime this year, and has been been dropping verses on recent singles by Ludacris, Rihanna, and Juicy J, among others. Young Jeezy stays on his grind, and he'll be killing the club and starting the weekend off right for everybody next Friday night at The National. You don't want to miss it!

And just to let you know what the party's gonna be like at The National next Friday, here's the video for Jeezy's latest single, "RIP," produced by DJ Mustard and featuring 2 Chainz. There's some crazy stuff going on this video, and maybe there won't actually be girls in their underwear dancing in cages dangling from the ceiling, but either way you can expect things to be off the hook. Check it out.
