Knife Party is set to take over the world in 2012. The "seizure music" duo witll be gracing thousands of fans in Miami at UItra, including myself, with their presence before hopefully launching a full US tour schedule. We featured the Live from Hull BBC Radio One Mix, and after listening, speakers blaring, feeling like I was there, I realized that the Knife is king-ing right now. I mean, the Swedish House Mafia collab they just did, "Antidote," is getting dropped, remixed, and tastefully abused by everyone from famous producers to 11 year old electro super fans. Literally--I'm not even embellishing that at all. Anytime I post anything related to Knife Party on the blog, people go bat-shit crazy for it and the girls start tossing their pants asking for more. Safe to say a certain buzz is getting created, and that Knife Party bring the motherfuckin’ ruckus.

Another monster sound, Feed Me, spit up a massive EP this week called Escape From Electric Mountain, which satisfied an array of needs for me. Formerly SPor, a DnB orgininal gangster, Feed Me has been known for his walloping drops and hella crunchy bass. He got a little diverse with this project and, although I liked him before, I have reached an all-new level of respect for his dynamic talent and ballsy production. He covers the heavy womp we're all used to, but also dips into some electro house with some sexy vocal work done. "Whiskers" and "Ember" are perfect examples of this.

We just added a member to our team, Bradley from LA. He has started spinning an hour-long Friday pregame electro podcast called "AbsolutElectro." The banginest of the bangin here; the hottest tracks week by week laid out so you don’t even have to worry about picking or changing the song. Check it out and make life a little easier on yourself.

This Week’s Must-Listen List:
Moguai - Lyme + Invisible [Original Mix]
Kaskade ft Skylar Grey - Room For Happiness [Remixes]
Awolnation - Sail [WhiteNoise Remix]
Sebastian Tellier - Divine [Zeds Dead Remix]
Nicky Romero - Generation 303 [Original Mix]
Feed Me - Strange Behavior [Caveat Remix]

Richmond EDM This Weekend:

Come join me at The Canal Club tonight for Bassdread and Mike Phear. I gave you guys of preview of the madness that’s coming tonight earlier this week along with a little interview with opener Mike Phear. I will be getting inside the mind of the Jamaican Rebel Bass maniacs Bassdread before raging out, hopefully in the vicinity of front and center. There's not a better way to celebrate Bob’s birthday this past week then some Reggae Bass for us electronic fans. Come out and kick it with me. First person I catch with rageface gets a shot on me.
