Dalek is coming to town for a street art project happening downtown in April. For those unfamiliar, James Marshall aka Dalek made his mark in the art world with his iconic Space Monkey character, which looks like a catatonic, twisted mouse. He merged street art, cartoons, Japanese pop and the energy of the urban punk scene. After the Space Monkey phase, he has since moved on to more abstract, pure energy pieces that are mutli-layered with a futuristic bright color palette.
Also, he is a graduate of VCU.
